Article Abstract:
Hate crimes are not a new phenomenon in the US, but usage of the Internet adds a disturbing ingredient. Messages calling for violence against different groups can be found on the Internet, which can be used to recruit new members to hate groups. Hate sites can be closed down, though this goes against the tradition of free speech that has developed with the Internet. The Internet can also be used to combat hate groups by exposing them, and this is seen as the best way to tackle the problem.

Article Abstract:
It is argued that the Internet could be extended to reach the moon, and this interplanetary Internet could reduce space mission costs as well as helping terrestrial users by fostering research into the reliability of wireless connections. New approaches will be needed if this project is to be successful, for example in file transfers. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration is among the bodies involved in this research, and is collaborating with bodies in Britain on this work.
