EU wants to regulate cellphone roaming rates

Roaming wireless telecommunications service rates are being cut by up to 40 percent due to regulations by the European Commission. Mobile-phone customers pay up to five times as much for services in places in Europe other than their home countries.

EU regulators suspend review of Microsoft-ContentGuard deal

European Union regulators have suspended the investigation of a Microsoft Corp. and Time Warner Inc. investment in ContentGuard Inc. The anti-trust law investigation was ceded with Thomson S.A. entering the deal.
