Eta asserts itself in the Ukraine

Article Abstract:

Eta (Hlinsko, Czech Republic), household electrical appliance manufacturer, will commission a brand shop in Kiev, the Ukraine, in December 1998. In 1998 the firm supplied the first lorry with disassembled vacuum cleaners under the trade mark Eta to the Ukraine. The company started to prepare the Ukrainian market in 1997. Eta exported goods worth about 6 mil Kc to the market in 1997. The company plans to double the volume in 1998. Eta has exported goods worth 10 mil Kc to the Ukraine since the beginning of 1998 and is preparing other supplies.

JBA (Czech Republic), supplier of the integrated company system JBA System 21, saw a turnover of 173.9 mil Kc in 1998. JBA System has been utilised at 35 Czech firms including Plzensky Prazdroj (Plzen, Czech Republic), Maso Krasno (Krasno, Czech Republic), Lanex (Bolatice, Czech Republic) and Juli Motorenwek (Brno, Czech Republic). The firm has also supplied its products to Slovak firms including SEZ (Krompachy, Slovakia) and Elbak (Slovakia).

Ceske Lodenice asserts itself abroad

Article Abstract:

Ceske lodenice (CL) (Prague, Czech Republic), ship manufacturer, has realised a contract worth about 160 mil Kc for Damen (Netherlands). The firm completed a series of four ships for the consumer at its shipyard in Valtirov, the Czech Republic. The last of the ships, which was launched at the beginning of 2000, was a tanker with a length of 100 mt intended for chemicals transport. CL has a stock of 400.68 mil Kc and 250 employees.
