Round 'em up

Article Abstract:

Banks are starting to develop brand names, and HSBC is using a single brand for all its banks, though the advertising campaign is not especially exciting. Goldman Sachs and J Morgan are also investing in advertising, and advertising is seen as more important by banks with a strong retail presence. Banks have tended not to develop brand names, and this may be due to a lack of marketing men among board members of banks. Financial services companies such as banks are also affected by the quality of their employees, which affects the services offered.
