Eta is doing well

Article Abstract:

Eta (Hlinsko v Cechach, Czech Republic), household electrical appliance manufacturer, had a 13% share on the total domestic kettle market in 2000. The firm was the largest seller of the products in 2000. Nearly 500,000 kettles of more than 30 trade marks were sold in the Czech Republic in 2000. Over 50% of the number was represented by Asian products. Eta increased its kettle sales by one third for 1Q 2001 compared to 1Q 2000. It expects further extension of their production within a new model, which is being developed for Bosch-Siemens (Germany).

Eta enters the Romanian market

Article Abstract:

Eta (Hlinsko v Cechach, Czech Republic), electrical appliance manufacturer, is increasing its exports to Romania. The firm exported goods worth 21.7 mil Kc to Romania in 1998. The exports included mainly 10,000 vacuum cleaners. The volume of Eta's exports to Romania increased three times in 1998 compared to nearly 7 mil Kc in 1997. Eta started the marketing preparation of the market in 1997. Eta's total exports generated 1.3 bil Kc in 1998. Eta is the largest Czech manufacturer of electrical household appliances.

Eta: Contracts worth millions of Czech crowns from Paris

Article Abstract:

Eta (Hlinsko v Cechach, Czech Republic), household electrical appliance manufacturer, has arranged contracts worth nearly 100 mil Kc in Paris, France. The volume could increase to nearly 250 mil Kc after the arrangement of other contracts that are being negotiated. The arranged contracts regard the supplies of about 200,000 vacuum cleaners and dozens of thousands of cooking stoves and other products. About 60% of the firm's exports go to West Europe.
