European ad agencies expand in Latin America, Asia

Article Abstract:

The rapidly expanding markets of Latin America and Asia are proving very attractive to several large advertising agency networks which have until now based their operations in Europe or North America. Publicis Group, for example, has recently purchased a 60% stake in Norton Publicidade, one of the largest advertising agencies in Brazil, and a 51% stake in Mexican concern Romero Y Asociados. Leagas Delaney is currently planning to open a third base from which to service global clients. This will be based on the Far East.
