Experian expands in Brazil

British consumer and business credit information firm Experian Group PLC has bought a 65% stake in Brazil's Serasa credit bureau in a deal valued at $1.2 bil including the transaction costs. Experian plans to raise the stake to 70% during the next six months.

Second big HSBC stake is sold to a Mideast firm

Article Abstract:

Dubai International Capital bought a stake in UK financial firm HSBC Holdings PLC via its Global Strategic Equities Fund. Although details on the deal were not released, British law requires that a stake exceeding 3% has to be declared.

Saudi buys a stake in HSBC: Saad Group founder pays $6.6 billion for 3.11% of the bank
