FRANCE: MEDICAL FILES AVAILABLE VIA WAP, WEB, ETC

Article Abstract:

A service allowing doctors from the casualty department to access to medical information on a patient via a fixed, GSM or WAP terminal, was recently proposed in France. The first interconnection solution between an automatic reading software, a voice server, a Web site and a WAP access in Europe, the service was designed by Information medicale d'urgence (IMU). It will supply doctors, especially in a casualty department, with medical data on a patient.
