FRANCE: HIGHWAY CODE CD-ROM BY ANIROM

The French software publisher, Anirom Multimedia, has launched a CD-Rom to help learner drivers to learn the highway code on the PC called Codirom. It contains teaching modules with real life film to put the learner in a real situation, and also an official highway code book. For PCs only, Codirom should retail at around FFr 149.

FRANCE: HAVAS TO LAUNCH CD ROM RANGE AT XMAS
Article Abstract:
The French software publisher, Havas Interactive, has delayed the launch of its children's learning CD-Rom collection, Katego, with the insistence of retailers, for reasons of the time of the season. Katego, which is due to come out at Christmas 2000, is based on learning programmes combined with games which teach the child to learn by experimenting. Havas said it wanted to offer children a method of learning which fully exploits the world of multimedia, to learn in a dynamic and different way.

FRANCE: LAUNCH OF 102 DALMATIANS GAME BY EIDOS
Article Abstract:
In collaboration with Disney Interactive, and available on Dreamcast, Game Boy, PC, and PSone, Eidos launched its new computer game, 102 Dalmatians, on 1st Feb 2001. Following the success of computer game versions of the film, Chicken Run, this new game is also based on the recent release of the Disney feature film.
