Article Abstract:

There are allegations of an attempt to kill Serbian opposition leader, Vuk Draskovic, following a car accident which killed four of his colleagues, while he himself escaped alive. The police did not try to locate the driver of the truck involved in the accident. Any attempt to remove Serbian president, Slobodan Milosevic, is likely to be difficult. He has a police force of 80,000 men and the police have financial reasons to seek to retain Milosevic in power.
