Fine-tuned for profit

Article Abstract:

Three Singaporean defense-related companies, among them Singapore Aerospace Ltd (SA), showed strong financial performances despite cutbacks in global military spending by maintaining a domestic monopoly and diversifying into civilian markets. The company's profits are projected to increase by about 10% in the coming years. Singapore Shipbuilding and Engineering and Singapore Automotive Engineering also performed well financially.
