Jakarta is currently witnessing the emergence of open-air foodstalls, as citizens underscore new lifestyle and novel eating habits. These stalls, where inexpensive and luscious meals are served, are mostly found along sidewalks and residential boulevard. In order to maintain competence in the ever-expanding market, foodstall owners have also offered value-added services to consumers, including television, serenade and violinists.
