France Telecom confirms talks to sell real estate

France Telecom S.A. acknowledged that it is engaged in negotiations to sell its real estate holdings with a consortium consisting of Goldman Sachs, GE Capital, and CDC Ixis. France Telecom wants to sell the assets at between 2 billion euros and 3 billion euros.

Nestle to sell a portion of frozen-food business

Article Abstract:

Nestle SA will sell part of its frozen-food business as the company attempts to implement a restructuring of its food operations. Nestle announced that it will spin off some of its European frozen-food businesses and brands. The food giant's frozen-food businesses account for a combined one billion Swiss francs ($673 million) in yearly sales. This amounts to approximately 40% of Nestle's total frozen-food sales in Europe.
