The German fund manager, Union Investment has taken the lead in European shareholder activism, publishing a list of companies, which need to show improvement in terms of shareholder returns and their corporate governance. This move is in the wake of rising indignation on the part of the European shareholder, which has forced the companies to respond.

Subprime turmoil has hedge fund reassessing asset-backed securities

Citigroup parts ways with manager in Brazil
