Generic software components - the ODS Toolbox and Co-PuSH

Article Abstract:

Orthogon GmbH's main product is the ODS Toolbox, which is recognized as the world-leader in operational display systems. The products is being used by all developers of software used in air-traffic-control applications. For instance, AIRSYS ATM is using the software in creating a new version of the EUROCAT system while Lockheed Martin is utilizing ODS as the basis for its SkyLine product. The ODS is already being used in such organizations such as Eurocontrol UAC Maastricht and the DFSUAC Rhein Control in Karlsruhe, Germany.

Article Abstract:

Austro Control and Airsys ATM used Orthogon GmbH's ODS Toolbox product in developing the display systems used by the Vienna air-traffic-control system (VAS). Austro Control implemented VAS without disrupting air traffic while the display software was developed through four phases. Other installations using the ODS Toolbox are the DFS UACC in Karlsruhe, Germany, the ANS ATCC in Prague, Czechoslovakia and the ATCC in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
