Merrill Lynch to manage US$2bn Iberia IPO

The Spanish privatization agency, SEPI, has chosen Merrill Lynch as the global co-ordinator for Iberia, the Spanish state airline. The initial public offering for Iberia has been scheduled for the third or fourth quarter of 1999.
