Going for broke

Article Abstract:

The broking services of financial houses with a international presence are becoming increasingly influential as merger and acquisition deals globalize. However, the shrinking group of independent, smaller financial houses claim that the diversity of the market and their flexibility permit them to secure a steady stream of deals in merger and acquisition broking. Large players are investigating possible new directions, including online broking. Some of the large houses are creating corporate broking departments. Despite these trends, there is still likely to be a niche for smaller, specialist broking houses.

On the lookout for quality management

Article Abstract:

There is currently a very strong market for MBI/MBO and company disposal deals in the area around Southampton, England. Being involved in such deals can be very exciting, but also requires a great deal of determination. Potential MBI candidates should consider whether they are keen to make a large capital gain from their efforts, whether they have the necessary experience and whether they are prepared to make sacrifices. It is worthwhile engaging the services of a professional adviser.
