Staples Inc. uses products designed by independent inventors to distinguish its brand from that of its competitors. Sales of Staples-brand products continue to increase. Staples is now the top office superstore, with sales increases of 11% per year since 2002, when CEO Ron Sargent was hired.

Amazon plans music service to rival iTunes

Amazon.com Inc. of the United States is to introduce a new digital music service to rival Apple Computer Inc.'s iTunes Music Store also of the United States. The music download service is to offer special features including Amazon music players at retailers with a subscription service.
