Gradient projection and local region search for multiobjective optimisation

Article Abstract:

A new gradient-based local region search method is proposed. The objective is to extend the ISTM method and its enhanced version to deal with a general nonlinear multiobjective optimization problem with a nonseparable explicit or implicit utility function. A simple numerical example is shown which demonstrates the implementation of the algorithm and a decision problem is examined to show the potential applications of the new method.
