H-P's earnings shortfall send stock down 13%

Hewlett-Packard Co. posted profits that were nearly 20% lower-than-expected for the 2000 fourth-quarter. The company also said it has terminated negotiations to acquire the Pricewaterhouse Coopers consulting firm.

H-P's earnings top estimates by analysts as revenue jumps

Hewlett-Packard Co. posted an increase of 6.5% in its earnings for the quarter ending on April 30, 2000. The company posted higher-than-expected earnings of $816 million (903.1 million euros) for the period.

H-P's net income tumbles 89% on sharply lower demand

Hewlett-Packard Co. (H-P) posted a drop of 89% in its net income for the quarter ending October 31, 2001. The company, hurt by declining demand, posted $97 million in net income for the period.
