The major causes of deforestation are identified as poverty, population pressures and shifting agriculture, and a survey explains that healthy markets for wood products would actually help to prevent deforestation, encouraging those countries to follow carefully monitored forest management. It is relatively simple economics, as boycotts might only serve to decrease the value of the land, thus endangering the future of those very same forests that could be a nation's economic savior.

She envisions a process whereby designers work with dancers, film their movements, look for repeated patterns, then create 3D models so that, in a sense, building can start to mould to the human form, as she feels that human body is the perfect architecture.
