Hong Kong: one country, one system

Article Abstract:

In 1977, when Britain handed over the reigns of power of Hong Kong, to China, it had promised a continuation of sovereignty. Beijing has decided not to allow Hong Kong to expand its democracy in 2007, 2008, and making it into one country one system.
