How to avoid a law suit

Article Abstract:

The expense of court cases and the uncertainty about recovering costs is making architects investigate methods of avoiding court action. Some claims can be settled through the small claims court although lawyers and soliciors are necessary if the case is complicated. Construction-conract consultants, unlike solicitors, aim to prevent the need for legal action. They are specialists in construction law and give advice on contracts, negotiations and correspondance. They also advice on formal and informal arbitration. Contract consultancy services cost from 0.1 to 0.2 percent of the contract value.
