Hungry for Internet plays

Article Abstract:

Hong Kong technology stocks are showing spectacular gains amid hopes that the market will follow the example set by Wall Street. Shares of such companies such as Pacific Century CyberWorks, China Online and New World Cyberbase have been performing extremely well since Sep 1999. Analysts and fund managers, who forecast a bullish outlook for the technology industry, point to the limited amount of technology stocks as one reason for their good showing.
