In-flight EW trainer bridges market gap

Article Abstract:

Elisra Electronic Systems Ltd has introduced a new on-board, in-flight electronic warfare (EW) training system for combat aircraft. The system bridges the gap between EW training in ground-based simulators and costly live-flying exercises in instrumented EW training. It features a 5x5 in avionics box that is installed on the aircraft's on-board self-protection system and a planning and debriefing ground station derived from air combat training systems.
