Valeo posts strong results; chairman to step down

Noel Goutard, the chairman of Valeo SA, announced that he will retire from his post on May 25, 2000. Mr. Goutard is retiring as the company posted a 28% rise in 1999 in revenues.

Valeo's net income is widely expected to fall nearly 50%

Strong sales lift Valeo's results
