The United States Supreme Court remains an aristocratic enigma that most US citizens respect because of the power it enjoys. The US Supreme Court has the power to veto or affirm certain administrative proceedings its track record still shows inconsistencies. The Supreme Court's commitment to freedom is unquestionable but a question of whether its decisions are sound or should be accepted still remains.

A fable concerning ambition

Article Abstract:

An analysis of why Amazon.com Inc outclassed Internet Bookshop in the same arena reveals that the differences were in planning and efficiency that boosted Amazon market share in the business. The two businesses were started at about the same time with differences regarding nationality. The American counterpart proved very successful because of efficiency that the British Internet Bookshop lacked.

Independent bookstores are holding on to a significant portion of the bookselling market in the face of heavy competition from the major chains. The success of stores such as Chicago's Guild Books and New York's Endicott Books is due in large part to customer service.
