KRONE POSTS NET PROFIT OF Rs2.48 CR

Krone Communications Ltd, a telecom and structured cabling joint venture company of Krone AG of Germany, has registered a net profit of Rs2.48 crore for the year ended December 31, 1998. This is a 165 percent increase over its net profit of Rs95 lakh in 1997. Its net sales have increased by 116 percent to Rs35.16 crore from Rs16.26 crore. The company has declared a net profit of Rs82 lakh on net sales of Rs13.31 crore in the fourth quarter ended December 31, 1998 against a net profit of Rs1.06 crore on net sales of Rs7.94 crore in the forth quarter ended December 31, 1997.
