Latin American beat: equities excel - and have further to go

Article Abstract:

The International Finance Corp reports that Latin American investment portfolios have consistently outperformed Asian stocks. While country funds boosted the performance of Asian marketsin the late 1980s, Latin American nations were focusing on economic development. However, Indonesia and India, Pakistan and the Philippines may be good short- and medium-term investment markets.
