Lavoie next chair

Article Abstract:

Paul Lavoie, president of Taxi Advertising & Design, has been named the chairman of the 2002 Marketing Awards. Lavoie said he will view his new role as that of a company chairman looking to add value to the company. He added that he intends to get the most objective and most talented jury he can find. The Quebec native worked for PNMD Communication, J Walter Thompson and Cossette Communication-Marketing before establishing his own ad agency.

PJ leads again at Marketing Awards

Article Abstract:

Palmer Jarvis DDB won 26 awards during the 2001 Marketing Awards held at the Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto, Ontario. Palmer Jarvis' Toronto office accounted for 12 of the 26 awards, including three Golds. The Golds were won in the Television Campaign category for Clorox' Pine-Sol brand; in the Television Single-30 seconds & Under category, for Pine-Sol's 'Bad Aim' spot; and in the Radio Campaign category, for Bud Light's Newfoundland launch.
