Article Abstract:

From 1 October, the Danish dairy company MD Foods and Swedish Arla will co-operate on the British market. Arla's subsidiary in the UK will be closed down, and its sales organisation merged with MD Foods Plc, the British subsidiary of MD Foods. ke Modig, MD of Arla, says the company hasn't been as successful as MD Foods in exports to the UK. He says MD Foods has established a distribution network, which is both professional and client-oriented. Arla will now target the British market for low-fat butter and specialized cheese products through MD Foods' sales channels.

CHEMITALIC I STRATEGISK ALLIANCE MED ITALIENERE

Article Abstract:

A strategic alliance in the printed circuit board (PCB) sector has been agreed between the two Danish companies Chemitalic and Printca and the Italian company FCE. The aim is to strengthen the position on European markets as well as cut costs in the purchasing of machinery and raw materials. Chemitalic prefers strategic alliances to mergers, and the management of the company says it's possible that further companies enter the alliance.
