Singapore considers bids for light-rail systems

Article Abstract:

Singapore is evaluating bids for the construction of two light rail systems. Eight firms have already submitted 13 bids for the projects, each of which is expected to cost $143 million. Winning bidders also gain the attention of other Asian countries interested in solving their own transportation problems.
