Macau taps Taiwan air ban to realize aviation dream

Article Abstract:

Air Macau and Macau International offer inland flights to Macau, and have become two of Hong Kong's biggest competitors. Air Macau's profit in 1999 has grown two-and-a half times bigger in 2000, and Macau International has seen passenger growth at about 50% a year. Travel to Macau also requires no visas, which are standard for Hong Kong, and comes equipped with captains who are not from mainland China.
