Monti and market dynamics: the strategy of a national car importer

Article Abstract:

An overview on the key issues arising from the Mario Monti's regulation who was the European Competition Commissioner between1999-2004 is presented. The effects of this regulation on the market dynamics with reference to the strategies followed by a national car and parts importer in Netherlands are discussed.

EU cuts aluminum tariffs: lowering barrier is step in move for cheaper imports

Article Abstract:

The European Union has reduced tariffs on aluminum from 6% to 3%, and will in two years review whether or not to eliminate them completely. The reduction will give a boost to Russian firms, which are the EU's largest raw aluminum suppliers.
