MOROCCO: SUPPLY OF ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT

Article Abstract:

ONE, the Moroccan National Electricity Office, has launched an invitation to tender for the installation of electrical equipment and a 225 kV post in the Dchar El Oued plant. The equipment to be supplied are a 13.5 kV electrical installation, a 13.5-225 kV transformer, a 225 switching station, a 22 kV installation including an auxiliary transformer, an auxiliary 400 V alternating current auxiliary installations, 127 V and 48 V continuous current electrical installations, and telesurveillance command and control equipment. Closing deadline is 23 May 2000 before 11.00 am. Information is available from Mrs Nicole Lejeune at the French Foreign Trade Centre, telephone (33) 1 40 73 38 58.

Ghana: Contract for Norelec

Article Abstract:

The Electricity Company of Ghana has chosen Norelec, the French company, for the rural electrification of the country's western region. The EUR 10mn contract involves the supply of 295 kilometres of overhead lines of 11 and 33 kV, 127 transformers of 100 MVA, 280 kilometres of cables in low voltage wire assemblies, and 9,000 low voltage connections.

Morocco: Invitations to tender for electricity station

Article Abstract:

ONE, the Moroccan National Electricity Office has issued an invitation to tender for the construction of a station of 225/60/22 kV connecting 225 and 60 kV lines to the Sidi El Aidi station. The closing date for bids in 27 November 2001. Information may be obtained from Awa Ndiaye at the CFCE (French Foreign Trade Centre) in Paris, at telephone number (33) 1 40 73 37 13.
