NORDIC: TELE DANMARK REQUESTS EQUAL CONDITIONS

Article Abstract:

Henning Dyremose, MD of Tele Danmark, the Danish telecom, requests equal competitive conditions in the Nordic countries. He expects that the European Commission will take the opportunity to make conditions more equal in connection with the Telia/Telenor case. He says Tele Danmark welcomes the merger between the Swedish and Norwegian telecoms. In Denmark, competitors have access to Tele Danmark's network, but this is not the case in Sweden and Norway. Tele Danmark aims at continuing putting pressure on the Governments in these countries to open up the markets.
