Nestle destina 10,000 millones a momdrenizarsus factorias

Article Abstract:

Of the Pta 10,000mn to be invested in its plant facilities in Spain in 1998 by Nestle, two thirds will be for production process upgrades. The rest of funds will go towards automation and sales efficiency. The MD of the Spanish subsidiary of Nestle claims volume could register a growth of 5% in 1998 and sales could rise 3%. In 1997 Nestle reached a turnover of Pta 241,579mn, up 3.3% on 1996. Nearly 23% of the products Nestle currently sells were launched after 1990, indicating that innovation is important.

La planta de Sanguesa de Papelera Navarra recibira este ano 2.100 millones

Article Abstract:

In 1998, Spanish paper producer Papelera Navarra is investing Pta 2,215mn in its Sang esa factory. Such amount will be destined to transform a kraft paper machine into an MG paper machine. The company is also increasing the productive capacity and improving the equipment in the Cordovilla factory with a cost of Pta 966mn. Both factories (located in Navarra, Spain) are being modernised in a four year plan to be completed by the end of 1998.

MIA destina 3,000 millones para hacer del 'Melia Cancun' su hotel mas grande

Article Abstract:

Spanish hotel holdings company Melia Inversiones Americanas (MIA) is planning to increase capacity by 62.7% at the Melia Cancun hotel in Mexico between 1998 and 1999, with investments of over Pta 3,000mn. The hotel currently has 494 rooms and an additional 310 will be added through the construction of two adjacent pyramids. A luxury swimming pool/restaurant is also to be built as well as a convention centre.
