Norman Murray

Article Abstract:

Norman Murray became Morgan Grenfell Development Capital (MGDC) Chief Executive in Oct 1996, after Murray's long-time working partner Robert Smith left the post to join Morgan Grenfell Asset Management. Murray began his financial career in 1976, when he became a chartered accountant. He became a director at Charterhouse Development Capital (CDC) in 1985, and played an important role in the Mecca Leisure buyout from Grand Metropolitan, valued at 95 million pounds sterling. Murray is convinced MGDC has a strong future in Germany, while the UK market remains positive.
