Disney CEO gets in the trenches; Eisner takes firsthand look at talent in action

Article Abstract:

Michael Eisner isn't ready to hire or promote someone into Walt Disney Co.'s studio chairman slot. He sits in with three other executives, giving input and observing their talents in action. The three are Dick Cook, Nina Jacobson and Thomas Schumacher. Recent decisions by the four have included taking some of the crudeness out of comedies. The search will continue until the right person with both creative and business experience in the film industry emerges.
