Ocean Spray drops its lawsuit over PepsiCo's Tropicana deal

Ocean Spray Cranberries Inc. has ended its lawsuit against PepsiCo Inc. The lawsuit was filed over PepsiCo's $3.3 billion (3.43 billion euros) purchase of the Tropicana juice brand from Seagram Co.

Coca-Cola find it's difficult to give up school contracts

Article Abstract:

Coca-Cola Co. had earlier promised that it would refrain from advertising soft drinks amid the controversy about sugary beverages. However, some of the company's bottlers are continuing to sign exclusive agreements with secondary schools despite corporate calls to end the advertising.

EU, Coke try to work out details of antitrust deal

European Union negotiates with Coca-Cola Co. over antitrust issues. The two primary areas of concern for regulators center on Coke's relationship with retailers and the use of Coke-branded equipment. PepsiCo of Purchase, New York, is watching the negotiations closely as it lodged the original complaint against Coke in Europe.
