On the analytic representation of the Leximin ordering and its application to flexible constraint propagation

Article Abstract:

A study presents an analytic formulation of the Leximin approach in evaluating alternative solutions to constraint propagation problems in terms of the ordered weighted averaging operators. The OWA operator is used to provide an equivalent Leximin aggregation function of calculating the best solution. Results reveal a better approach of ordering alternative and satisfactory solutions to constraint propagation problems which can be extended to flexible constraint propagation problems.
