A methodology for competitiveness analysis and strategy formulation in glass industry

Article Abstract:

A study is conducted to evaluate the development of a model as an aid in competitiveness analysis. The study considers the case of glass manufacturer Turkish Glass Works and focuses on the model's multi-phased implementation. Results show that the development of mathematical models generates an analytical framework by which industrial competitiveness can be analyzed. In addition, such models may function as tools for competitive strategy formulation.
