Pearson to sell German FT stake

Article Abstract:

UK publisher Pearson PLC is selling its 50% stake in the German newspaper Financial Times Deutschland to Gruner + Jahr AG. The deal provides Pearson with a licensing fee for the FT name and content. Although the deal value was not disclosed, Pearson's gross asset share in FT Deutschland was approximately $11.9 mil as of Dec. 31, 2007.

BAE Systems sets integration deadline
