Pricing of new 3-D mail questioned

Article Abstract:

Canada Post Corp has launched an enlarged Addressed Admail Service, most suitable for Canadian direct marketers who want to ensure that their product samples and promotional goodies are received by their target markets. Save.ca looks for high redemption

Article Abstract:

A Web site that will allow packaged-goods marketers to offer coupons online will be launched in Canada on Nov 1, 2000. Save.ca claims that it is a better alternative than free-standing inserts (FSIs), direct-mail and in-store delivery vehicles in the provision of coupons to consumers. Eight consumer brands have already signed up with Save.ca, including three from Procter & Gamble. Shereen Sabri, president of Save.ca, says the electronic coupons will have higher redemption rates than traditional FSIs.
