Public Maxxcom underperforming

Article Abstract:

Analysts claim that Maxxcom Inc. is performing below par despite a successful initial public offering (IPO). This is partly due to the inactivity of other publicly traded marketing companies. The Toronto, Canada-based advertising agency netted about C$60 million from the IPO. Its stock price has declined to the high C$8 range since it opened in Mar 2000 at C$10.35. Analyst Tim Sorensen claims that Cossette Communication- Marketing and Envoy Communications Group have affected Maxxcom.
