Article Abstract:

Bell Canada's Chief Communications Officer Sylvie Lalande has mastered content, networks, creativity and the Internet. She also understands convergence, the buzzword that is constantly being bandied about in an era of media acquisitions. Outside of her work, she triess to stay close to the creative community of Montreal. She does it in part by sitting on the boards of two Montreal theaters and the city's design institute as well as on the boards of the Bell Broadcast and New Media Fund, the Universite de Montreal and the city's Chamber of Commerce.
