Adacel Technologies has been selected by Hungary's air traffic and airport authority, LRI, to deliver an integrated radar and flight data processing ATC training simulator. the contracted MATSIM simulator includes over 20 positions, advanced human-machine interface applications for 2kx2k workstations and integrated voice communications system. It will be used to train ab initio and advanced controllers, and for real-time simulation to evaluate new airspace structures and coordination procedures.

UK-based Micro Nav has received a number of contracts for its BEST training simulator, which is used for training air traffic controllers. The company received contracts from Germany's air traffic control authority, Deutsche Flugsicherung, as it expanded its network of BEST training simulators and from UK National air traffic services that required an additional simulation unit.
