The International Whaling Commission is meeting is Glasgow to decide what steps to take next now that the eight-year moratorium on commercial whaling has expired. Some countries are saying whale populations are healthy and whaling should be allowed to continue, while other countries remain opposed.

Software makers should be happy with the falling prices of personal computers, but marketing to the new generation of personal computer owner is difficult. The key is making them dependent one brand of software, so packages are going for very low prices.

Harder than a garden party

Article Abstract:

Atlanta, GA may have hosted the biggest Olympics ever, but it was not the best. Logistical problems and a pipe bomb explosion marred the games, as did its unexciting setting. However, Atlanta rose above its problems and the games were a success.
