Skipper helps design trawl package

Article Abstract:

The salient features of a new type of trawl gear developed by Le Drezen of Le Guilvinec of France as per the specifications of Mariette le Roch's skipper Didier Queffelec are described. The trawl gear is being installed on Scapeche's twin-rigged trawler Mariette le Roch II. Queffelec explains the benefits he expects to derive from this trawl gear. The stern trawler is designed and built by Piriou shipyard at Concarneau.
