Most people in an art related field have a tendency to criticize otherEs work, no matter how good the work is. With age and experience the criticism may diminish, but it definitely does happen, especially in the ad industry, stemming from most peopleEs personal insecurities and ego. But on the flip side, no one is complaining, as it keeps people alert to making mistakes in order to not to get criticized by their peers and the press.

Article Abstract:

An evaluation of television advertisements in Canada is presented. In one ad, the depiction of cheese as a reward is criticized. Advertisements regarding a snowboarding accident that left a man paralyzed, and a public notice by the Alberta government regarding processed foods, are evaluated. An ad for Lexus is also analyzed.
